PO

Highlight text. Save it. Search it later.

Personal Chrome extension that clips web text locally. One click sends it to my knowledge base.

Why I built it

I wanted capturing something useful from the web to take one click, not a new workflow.

Problem

What made this worth building.

The web has so much I'd want to keep. An article, a code snippet, a design pattern, someone's insight. But capturing it is friction. Copy to Notion? Email to myself? Snapshot to Google Drive? None of it stuck. The capture part of learning is broken. There's no fast, frictionless way to grab what matters from a web page and have it end up somewhere searchable later.

Value

What the app gives back.

Highlight something and I can add a comment to the highlighted text. It saves locally. Done. No cloud sync, no tracking. The text, the date, the URL, the context — all saved. One click sends it to Zara. It gets embedded in my knowledge base. Later when I need it, I can ask her and she has it. I also built OCR in. See code in a screenshot? OCR it. Save it the same way. Anything I capture becomes part of what Zara can search.

Build

Build notes.

Build 01

A Chrome extension that lets me highlight, annotate, and save locally.

Build 02

A one-click push into Zara's knowledge base.

Build 03

Built-in OCR for screenshots and images, with no cloud sync and no tracking by design.

Ecosystem

How it fits with everything else.

PO is an input funnel for Zara. Everything I clip becomes part of my knowledge base. Combined with Indy Jones (full pages) and Transcriber (audio), it's part of a complete capture system.
